Board of Adjustments Notice of Public Hearings

Notice is hereby given that the City of Holdrege Board of Adjustments will hold three public hearings on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025, in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 502 East Avenue in Holdrege, Nebraska.

Beginning at 5:01 p.m., members will receive comments on an Application for Variance from Monte Schultz to construct a garage at 421 McMillan Street in Holdrege that will encroach on the 18-foot setback of the alleyway.

Immediately following, the Board will consider an Application for Variance from Doug Miller to assemble shipping containers as storage units at 915 2nd Street that will encroach on the twenty-five-foot setback of 2nd Street.

Finally, Board members will receive comments on Kyle Minnick’s Application for Variance to construct a garage at 2307 Brewster Road in Holdrege that will exceed the 1,200 sq. ft. restriction of an accessory use structure.

The hearings are open, and all interested parties will be given an opportunity to speak on matters concerning these applications.
